ACB Gujarat nabs Talati in Rs. 13,500 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed one Talati cum Mantri, a class – 3 employee of Gujarat government working with Dhavadiya gram panchayat in Zalod taluka of district Dahod.
According to ACB, an accused Alpesh Prajapati had demanded Rs. 13,500 bribe and accepted it at a place opposite Vishwakarma Mandir in Rayan Faliyu area of Zalod.
Accused had demanded bribe of Rs. 500 per file (total 18 files) for his signatures. The files were regarding NRG scheme works.
A complainant contacted ACB through toll free number 1064, after which a trap was arranged and accused was held while accepting Rs. 13,500 bribe.
