Deesa gets Gujarat’s longest elevated corridor; Opening soon

Palanpur: Deesa town will soon get a 3.7 km long over bridge, perhaps the longest elevated corridor in Gujarat over National Highway number 27 (previously NH-14), a stretch of East-West corridor connecting Porbandar and Assam. The elevated corridor which is soon going to be opened for traffic, has four lanes on each upper and lower side in addition to two lanes of service road. Rs. 222 crore bridge is 3.750 km long and as much as 10,500 tons of steel has been used in its construction. It has been constructed in EPC mode by NHAI, tenders for which were invited in year 2018.
