Below 35 age criteria for BJYM Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Gujarat unit of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by CR Patil has taken a decision that none above the age of 35 will be given post in Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). The decision has ben made effective from the State level to Mandal level (taluka unit level) according to BJYM Gujarat chief Prashant Korat. The teams of each BJYM unit president and general secretary will consist only the youths below 35 age.
Korat said the recent voluntary resignations of Rajkot city BJYM president, Rajkot city BJYM general secretary and Navsari district BJYM general secretary are due to this new decision made by the party.
He said, those who resigned had crossed 35-year age mark by few weeks or months. Korat said party will assign new responsibility to BJYM office bearers who stepped down due to age criteria. DeshGujarat
