Ahmedabad: Institute of Kidney Disease & Research Centre (IKDRC) Ahmedabad has made three more dialysis HD machines functional at Singarva community health centre of Ahmedabad district under the Gujarat Dialysis Progamme. With this the total number of dialysis centres under this programme has gone up at 53 with presence of over 500 machines and over 3 lakh dialysis per year free for ESRD patients. According to Vinit Mishra, Director of IKDRC, the aim is to make available dialysis service within 30 km radius for each ESRD patient. DeshGujarat
