Ahmedabad: A gambling den ‘Manpasand Gymkhana’ operated by Femidaben Govindbhai Patel in Dariyapur based pol area of wall city Ahmedabad in garb of a Charitable Trust was raided by police. Raiding team of State Monitoring Cell of Gujarat Police last night was reportedly shocked to see former IPS officer AK Suroliya’s photo frame at this gambling den. The gambling den had 25 CCTV cameras for monitoring of movement inside and outside the gambling den for round the clock. There was a cash room in this den. It is learnt that one person escaped the place with a cash box during raid. Over 200 persons are arrested in this raid. Questions are being raised against local police that was virtually allowing this gambling den to continue as the raid has been conducted by the State Monitoring Cell. DeshGujarat
