BNYS degree holder can register and offer Yogic, Naturopathy treatment: Gujarat govt

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has taken a decision to allow those having graduation degree in Yog and Naturopathy to register and offer treatment.
Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel who is also Health Minister today shared the details and said that the State health department has in its 8 July 2021 resolution decided that persons with Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science (BNYS) degrees from Vadodara based Morarji Desai Institute of Naturopathy and Yogik Science will be able to register with Gujarat Board of Ayurved and Unani System of Medicine by paying Rs. 1500 and get provisional registration which can be further renewed after five years.
A person having registration will be able to do practice of Yog and Naturopathy as per the sylabus studied in the college, Patel said. DeshGujarat
