IAF band enthralls Ahmedabad public at Sabarmati Riverfront

Sabarmati Riverfront: The Indian Air Force here conducted a live band concert at the Event Centre of Sabarmati River Front (West) today evening to mark ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ – 75th Independence Day celebration.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the event was organized in limited audience with adherence to social distancing rules.
The objective of the concert was to create awareness among the people about the IAF and Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, through music. The band symbolizes teamwork, harmony, ethos and dedication of an air warrior to his profession. The concert, organized under the aegis of Air Force Station, Gandhinagar of South Western Air Command (SWAC).
Members of this band of SWAC have participated in France, Italy, Germany, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. They have also participated in military music festivals at France, Malaysia Finland, Italy.
Apart from Marshal tunes and Hindi patriotic songs some Gujarati patriotic songs and flute performance on Vaishnav Jan song were also performed in this around two-hour long musical event.
