Gandhinagar: Election strategist Prashant Kishor who has worked for different political parties during various state elections in the past has now been assigned a brief of Gujarat elections next year by Congress party, it is learnt.

Kishor has met at least two Gujarat Congress leaders, Bharatsinh Madhavsinh Solanki and Kanubhai Kalsariya.

Dr. Kalsariya who returned after meeting Prashant Kishor in Delhi today said Kishor inquired about the present political situation in Gujarat during their meeting. Kalsariya said Kishor had handy knowledge about an agitation against Nirma company’s plant that was led by him (Kalsariya).

Prashant Kishor’s Gujarati advertisements on Facebook are appearing for last few days in which he invites persons to do political fellowship with him. Gujarati language used in these advertisement makes it clear that Prashant is building his own team of youths in Gujarat to work along with him in Gujarat for upcoming general elections of State assembly in December 2022.

Prashant Kishor had met with the Congress’s Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in mid of July for over an hour. DeshGujarat
