ACB Gujarat nabs yet another village Talati in bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed Talati Cum Mantri of Kotda, Anida and Bhavardi villages in Khambha taluka in Amreli district in a bribe case involving sum of Rs 4,000.
The complainant had got contract for the work of Paver Block and construction of  a wall of causeway in Kotda village and he had deposited the prescribed amount in the panchayat.
The accused Talati cum Mantri Arvindkumar Lalitbhai Parmar had demanded a bribe of Rs 4,000 to return the cheque of the deposit to the complainant after the completion of the works.
Complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found accepting a bribe of Rs 4,000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB on 6th October. ACB has detained the accused Talati Cum Mantri.
