Ahmedabad: A joy-ride service via helicopters at Sabarmati riverfront is likely to begin soon in the city. It will be the first project of the joy-ride on a river via helicopter in the country. The preparations of starting this service are in the final stage, it is learnt. It is to be started by Blue Ray aviation. The duration of one trip in the joy-ride will be 7 to 10 minutes. It will run on the fixed route around the Sabarmati riverfront and enable the passengers to watch an aerial view of the city. It will operate only on Saturdays and Sundays. Total 5 passengers can be accommodated in the helicopter per ride. The booking portal for online booking of this service will also be started soon.
