GTU lab that can test drugs, herbal products, fertilizers inaugurated

Gandhinagar: Testing of all types of medicines, herbal and fertilizers samples and their quality check will be possible at a Public Testing Laboratory set up by Gujarat Technological University (GTU) at its campus of Graduate School of Pharmacy in GIDC, sector – 26 in Gandhinagar.
The laboratory was inaugurated today by health minister Rushikeshbhai Patel. He said, one government lab for testing of food and drugs is functional in Vadodara. Rs. 7 crore new lab started by GTU will add to this and test government, private medicines and fertilizers with accurate results.
Patel said 91 per cent eligible persons in Gujarat have received first dose of Covid-19 vaccine while other 9 per cent people are being reached out through door to door contact programme. DeshGujarat
