Gujarat Government RTI Online Portal Launched

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today launched the online RTI portal of Gujarat government from State capital Gandhinagar for the departments of secretariat (Sachivalay).
The information about applications filed before various departments of secretariat under RTI (Right To Information) can be received through this RTI portal launched by the Gujarat government. RTI applications can also be filed online through this online RTI portal which is onlinerti.gujarat.gov.in .
Online RTI portal of Gujarat government has been launched by joint efforts of administrative reforms and training division of the general administrative department (GAD) of the state government and GIL (Gujarat Informatics Limited) under science & technology department. A complete training of this software has been provided to the public information officers and appeal officers of the departments of secretariat after preparing their ID and passwords, as stated in a note by the state government.
The online RTI facility has been launched only for the departments of secretariat at present. The same service will be launched for the offices of the head of departments and district offices phase wise in future, as per a note by the state government. DeshGujarat
