Gujarat CM Patel, State BJP chief Patil wash feet of Schedule Caste women

Himnatnagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today washed feet of a Schedule Caste widow lady with water, and worshiped her by applying Kanku chanla on the stage in a public function. The Chief Minister along with the State party chief CR Patil was attending a function at BAPS (Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha) Mandir hall at Kanklol near Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district of North Gujarat in memory of late Ranjitsinh Chavda. The function was titled as ‘Naryestu Vandana’. Patil also performed same ritual and reminded the gathering that Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi had also washed feet of sanitation worker ladies. Patil said the Chief Minister would also invite five families for having meal with him.
