Bhiloda Congress MLA Dr. Anil Joshiyara passes away

Gandhinagar: Congress MLA from Bhiloda (ST) in North Gujarat and former Health minister Dr. Anil Joshiyara passed away today at Channai in a private hospital due to post Covid-19 complication. He was 69-year old.
His son Keval Joshiyara confirmed this news during talk with DeshGujarat. He said late MLA was admitted in Chennai based hospital since 7 February for treatment through ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygen) technique. ECMO is a life support system in which an artificial heart and pair of lungs function outside the body.

Keval Joshiyara said the body of his father will be brought back by air to SVPI airport in Ahmedabad at around 6.30 am on Tuesday, March 15. It will be then taken to Joshiyara’s native village Chuna Khan for cremation.
Prior to hospitalization in Chennai, Joshiyara was admitted in Ahmedabad based private CIMS hospital on January 15.
MLA Dr. Anil Joshiyara had served as state health minister from 1995 to 1997. He had served as Gujarat state congress committee chief from 1998 to 2000 after his defeat from late Upendra Trivedi in 1998 state assembly election. He had achieved victory in state assembly elections of 2002,2007,2012,2017 from congress party from Bhiloda constituency. DeshGujarat
