PM Modi resolves Rs. 8000 cr IT issue of sugar mills in two and half minutes: Amit Shah in Gujarat

Surat: PM Narendra Modi resolved the Rs 8000 crore- Income Tax issue of sugar mills of the state within two and a half minutes, said Union Home Minister and cooperation minister Amit Shah, while addressing Sahkar Se Samriddhi sammelan at Bajipura in Tapi organised by Sumul dairy.

PM Modi has formed the Ministry of Cooperation to strengthen the cooperation sector in the country and made provision of Rs 900 crore in the budget for it, he said. Sumul dairy, which started with only 200 litre milk collection 71 years ago, collects 20 lakh litre milk everyday from the members. The central government gives an aid of Rs 6000 every year to 13 crore farmers of the country. A beautiful structure of a sugar factory running on cooperative basis is in Gujarat in the country, which is a pride, he said.

CM Bhupendra Patel said that the slogan ‘sauno sath sauno vikas’ is executed very well in the cooperative bodies in the state. State BJP chief CR Patil said that the cooperative activities are done in Gujarat from which the entire country should get inspired.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah remained present in the program along with CM Bhupendra Patel, state BJP chief CR Patil, state home minister Harsh Sanghavi, MoS for railways and textiles Darshana Jardosh.
