Two more accused held in Ram Navami procession attack case in Khambhat

Khambhat: The police have nabbed 2 more accused in the case of violence in Ram Navami procession in Shakkarpur in Khambhat.
The police had rounded up 5 persons on Saturday and nabbed two out of them. The court has approved the remand of the two accused Jamshedkhan Joravarkhan Pathan and Majid alias Majlo Malek till 20th April.
The police have earlier nabbed 9 accused including 3 maulvi in this case. The police demanded further remands of these 9 accused by producing them in the court after the end of their previous remand on Saturday. The court approved the remand of 4 accused out of the 9 accused. The remaining accused were sent to judicial custody.
The police have filed the complaint against a total 57 persons in this case. It was revealed in the investigation that the violence on Ram Navmi procession was pre-planned. DeshGujarat
