Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has assigned the additional charge of the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Industries & Mines department to 1987 batch IAS Raj Kumar.

Sandeep Kumar, year 2002 batch IAS who is presently the Development Commissioner, has been given additional charge of the post of Managing Director (MD), Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd(SSNNL) until return from leave of IAS officer Jagdish Prasad Gupta (JP Gupta).

On his return from leave, JP Gupta, Principal Secretary of Finance department will hold additional charge of the post of Managing Director of Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd.

The Government had to release these orders due to retirement of Additional Chief Secretary of Industries & Mines department, Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta who was also in additional charge of the post of MD, SSNNL. DeshGujarat
