Drug peddler, accomplice in police net in Rajkot

Rajkot: Acting on a tip-off, SOG Rajkot, PI, J D Jhala, and his team conducted a raid and have arrested a drug peddler, Sudha Dhameliya, as well as her accomplice Aniruddhasinh Vaghela and recovered 10.75 grams of narcotic (Mafedron) worth Rs 1.07 lakh from her purse.
During the frisking of Dhameliya’s purse, the police also found two mobile phones and Rs 150 in cash.
During interrogation, Dhameliya and Aniruddha confessed to having procured Mafedron from Mumbai. The police have begun proceedings for the remand of both the accused and are also on the lookout for the person from Mumbai who supplied the narcotic to Dhameliya.
The police suspect that Dhameliya may have targeted college youths and are focusing their probe in that direction. DeshGujarat.
