Kechaora mini mobile phones found hidden in rectums at Surat Lajpor jail prisoners

Surat: Two mobile phones of Kechoda company have been found in the rectum of two prisoners lodged at Lajpore Central Jail of Surat with the help of a non-linear junction detector machine, owing to which a complaint has been registered against four inmates of the prison at the Sachin police station.

The frisking squad of the central jail found the movements of the inmates of barrack B-303 suspicious and began combing their beds and belongings but nothing could be found. Undeterred, the frisking squad used the non-linear junction detector machine, which indicated that metallic objects were present in the rectum of Darshan Ramesh Patel and Laxmikant alias Bhola Mukundlal Vishwakarma. After being severely warned by the frisking squad, both the inmates removed the mobile phones of Kechoda company from their respective bottoms and handed them over to the squad.

During interrogation, Darshan admitted that the mobile phone he had hidden in his rectum belonged to Altaf Ahmed Shaikh, who is also in the same barrack as him. Laxmikant confessed that the mobile phone hidden in his rectum belonged to co-inmate Chandkhan Sattarkhan alias Dadhi Pathan.

Jailer Ramesh Parmar has registered a complaint under the Prisoner Act at the Sachin police station in this matter against all four inmates.
