Monsoon festival ‘Megh Malhar Parv’ begins at Saputara Hill

Saputara: The monsoon festival titled “Megh Malhar Parv” by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat begins at Saputara hill station with representatives of 29 countries.
The one-month monsoon festival includes cultural programs and adventure activities for the tourists. State tourism minister Purnesh Modi inaugurated the Megh Malhar Parv 2022. A parade from Swagat Circle was organized in the inauguration of the festival. The parade included various dances namely Dandi dance, Punjabi dance and Rajasthani dance.
Various projects were dedicated at the inauguration function of the Megh Malhar Parv such as a musical fountain, Amphitheatre, adventure park, boating jetty area development, floating jetty, and canopies around existing lack, mall road development, parking near Mahadev mandir, minor bridges, renovation of TCGL shops.
A special dangi food court is set up at the festival. The famous food items of the Dang district will be served there.
