Former Gujarat Congress MLA Mahendrasinh Baraiya joins BJP

Gandhinagar: Mahendrasinh Baraiya, former Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Prantij constituency in North Gujarat has joined ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at State party headquarters today. Baraiya was previously with main opposition Congress party. After joining BJP, Baratiya said he has joined BJP as he wants to become a part of the journey of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Baraiya said there was the politics of development on one hand and internal groupism on other hand. He said he has come to a peaceful home from the house where there was infighting going on. Baraiya said he had been with Congress since 1998. Baraiya said he is ready to play whatever role, the party assigns to him including the Page president. DeshGujarat
