Ahmedabad: The city crime branch on Wednesday arrested two men with 19.9 grams of mephedrone worth ₹ 1.99 lakh near Parimal Garden.

The police got input that a meeting between these two drug peddlers was to happen in Parimal garden in the Panchvati area of the city. Following the input, the police caught Shahid Shaikh alias Raja Billi, 33, a resident of Ejaznagar near Saiyedwadi locality in Vatva, and Faysal Shaikh, 30, a resident of Muslim Society in Navrangpura.

As per the crime branch officer, 14.9 grams of mephedrone worth ₹ 1.49 lakh was seized from Shahid, and 5 grams of mephedrone worth ₹ 50,000 was found on Faysal.
