MD drug case: 5 more peddlers nabbed in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The crime branch has nabbed 5 more accused drug peddlers in case of MD drugs worth Rs 28 lakh.

The 5 accused drug peddlers allegedly delivered drugs worth Rs 28 lakhs in various areas of the city. The five drug peddlers are from Sarkhej, Dariyapur and Kalupur areas. The four accused peddlars were earlier nabbed 20 days ago from SP ringroad. They had arrived in Eco sport car with 289 grams MD drugs from Mumbai. They were Dhanush alias Bittu Asodia, Manu Desai, Indrish Shaikh, and Mo Irfan alias Rajababu. It was revealed in the investigation that these accused had supplied drugs to other 5 peddlers in city.

The crime branch has nabbed the 5 peddlars named Altmas Mustak Mansuri from Sarkhej, Samirkhan alias Samirkhan Dhrangadhra Ashraf Khan Pathan lives in Sarkhej, Shabbir alias Baba alias Bava Allarakha Shaikh from Dariyapur, Shahid alias Sahil Aslambhai Qureshi from Sarkhej, and Samiruddin alias Bond Riyajudin Shaikh from Kalupur.

The accused Samirkhan was previously booked in attempt to murder in Navrangpura, making fake documents in Danilimda, six to seven thefts in Kadi Nandasan, and violence in Dhrangadhra police station. The accused Shabbir was booked in gambling and violation of order in Dariyapur.
