Swaminarayan seer booked for hurting sentiments of Sanatan Hindus

Rajkot: Rajkot city police filed a crime against Swaminarayan saint Anand Sagar Swami for allegedly hurting religious sentiments by his comment on Bhagvan Shiva in a viral video clip of Swami’s speech abroad.
A video of a remark of Anand Sagar Swami, who separated from HariDham Sokhda Swaminarayan sect, allegedly insulting Bhagvan Shiva had gone viral in last few days. Saurashtra Kutch Brahma Samaj Trusty and national general secretary of Brahmdev Samaj Mihirbhai alias Milanbhai Rameshbhai Shukla, living in Jamna park near Nava Jakatnaka at Morbi road and running an auto spare parts shop near Ajidam chokdi filed a complaint against Anand Sagar Swami.
A complainant alleged in the complaint that he received the video clip of Anand Sagar Swami, who separated from Haridham Sokhda and lives at Atmiya Vidhyadham in Bakrol in Vallabh Vidyanagar, in mobile phone through friends . The complaint alleged that it was a deliberate speech to hurt sentiments of Sanatan Dharma intending to insult Bhagvan Shiva.
