ACB Gujarat nabs GSRTC divisional controller in bribe case

Bhavnagar: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat has nabbed the divisional controller of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) Bhavnagar in a bribe case of Rs 50,000.
The complainant runs a luxury bus on Bhavnagar to Mahuva route with the title of Raj Travels. He also runs other private mini travels on Palitana route. A bribe of Rs 50,000 every month was demanded from the managers of private travels willing to run private buses on this route, for no hindrance, no vehicle checking and not stopping the buses by the ST department.
The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused divisional controller Ashokbhai Keshavlal Parmar was found taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained. DeshGujarat
