Gandhinagar: President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu is likely to pay a visit to Gujarat on 2nd and 3rd October 2022.

It will be her first visit to Gujarat after being sworn in as the president. She had previously visited Gujarat just before her election as President.

President Murmu is likely to start the visit from Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2022 from Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. She will observe the Sabarmati Ashram Redevelopment project. She will also join the Prarthana Sabha to be held on Gandhi Jayanti.

She will lay the foundation stone of a super speciality hospital to be built in Gandhinagar civil hospital campus at a cost of Rs 370 crore on 3rd October. Union home minister Amit Shah, Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat, CM Bhupendra Patel will remain present in the program. The official schedule of the program will be declared on 30th September.
