Gandhinagar: Gujarati news channel Zee 24 Kalak today released the results of an opinion poll for Gujarat polls. According to the channel, over 2 lakh people participated in this survey which went on for 60 days.

The survey result showed a 49.95 % vote share for BJP, and a 35.30% vote share for Congress, down from over 47% in 2017. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has got 8.9% votes share in this opinion poll, while 2.6% votes will go to Independents. The survey has given 124 to 139 seats to BJP, 42 to 51 seats to the Congress party while Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will get 0 to 3 seats.

45 percent of participants in the survey went for Bhupendra Patel as their Chief Ministerial choice. 23.63% choose CR Patil as Chief Minister. 19.2% said Jagdish Thakor was their choice for the post of CM. Surveyor stated that the participants of the survey were not given ready options. The names came from themselves.

Gujarat is going to polls in the first week of December this year. DeshGujarat
