Amit Shah holds review meeting on preparations for 2036 Olympics in Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Union Home affairs minister and Lok Sabha member from Gandhinagar, Amitbhai Shah today reviewed the preparations for holding the year 2036 Olympics games in Gujarat.
Among the topics involved in this review meeting was the upcoming international-level sports enclave to be developed near the Narendra Modi stadium. Shah asked for the timely completion of this infrastructure. Shah also reviewed the progress of the works that he had suggested in the previous meeting.
Shah also guided for setting up of the sports infrastructure, facilities for the sportspersons and coaches, and residential facilities as per the standards of the Olympic games. Shah suggested that Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Sports minister Harsh Sanghavi should hold reviews at regular intervals for the planned works. Shah also visited the under-construction Naranpura Sports Complex and made necessary suggestions. A presentation on the preparations for the year 2036 Olympics was made in the meeting. DeshGujarat
