PM Modi, Australian PM to watch Cricket match in Gujarat in March

Gandhinagar: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will be visiting India in March 2023, where he is set to hold critical bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. During the visit, Albanese will also travel to Ahmedabad to watch India vs Australia Test match at Narendra Modi Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world in Gujarat.
This will be the first time Albanese visits India in his current capacity as Prime Minister, after taking charge in May 2022.
Albanese confirmed the visit, expressing his gratitude to PM Modi for the invitation and stating that the bilateral relationship between the two countries is important, particularly in terms of their complementary economies and security issues. Prior to his visit, Albanese met with India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar in Australia.
Furthermore, the Quad, a group comprising India, Australia, Japan, and the US, is expected to hold a foreign ministers meeting in India in March, with PM Modi scheduled to travel to Australia for the annual summit later in the year. DeshGujarat
