Croda India to invest Rs 500 crore in new production plant at Dahej

Dahej: Croda India, a manufacturer of speciality chemicals and a subsidiary of the UK-based Croda International Plc, announced on Wednesday that it will construct a new production plant in Dahej, Gujarat. The company plans to invest Rs 500 crore in the first phase of construction, with the groundbreaking ceremony held on Wednesday.

The new facility will enable Croda India to increase its production capacity to cater to the growing demand for its consumer care products in the region, as well as the increasing opportunities in the pharma and crop care industries. Croda India’s statement indicated that the facility will also provide advanced and sustainable solutions to its customers, and expand the company’s manufacturing presence in Asia to meet the fast-growing demand.
