April 26, 2023
Ahmedabad: A case has been filed in the Metro Court of Ahmedabad against Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, for calling Gujaratis thugs.
Hareshbhai Mehta has filed the petition, demanding action in response to Yadav’s statement made in March, where he referred to the entire Gujarati community as thugs. The hearing for the case is scheduled for May 1st.
Yadav attacked the community and had said, “In today’s situation, only Gujaratis can be thugs in this country.” He was speaking to the media outside the Bihar assembly.
