Polo forest (North Gujarat) : A youth from Anand died after drowning in a river in Polo forest.

Total 9 friends living near Jakatnaka in Anand had reached Polo forest in an eco car for a trip. Five of them went to bathe in a river beside a dargah in polo forest. A 21-year old Arsil Salimbhai Vora drowned in the river. His friends could not rescue him. They reached Sharneshwar mandir and contacted Vijaynagar police. 108-ambulance and police reached the spot. The Idar fire department also reached the spot and started to find him.

They called Sanjay Kathodi, serving as GRD (Gram Rakshak Dal) cop in Vijaynagar police station. Sanjay Kathodi found the dead body within 5 minutes. The dead body was taken to Vijaynagar civil hospital in 108 for postmortem. Vijaynagar police filed a case of accidental death. DeshGujarat
