Plan afoot for Vande Bharat Express to connet Hapa and Vadodara

Vadodara: A Vande Bharat train will run between Vadodara and Hapa in Jamnagar in the upcoming days, stated MoS Railway Ranjanben Bhatt in Vichar Goshti program held by Team Vadodara of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday. The train will cover Rajkot and Ahmedabad on the way. This will be the second Vande Bharat train for Vadodara as the one between Gandhinagar and Mumbai already stops in Vadodara.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated 25 Vande Bharat trains so far. Vadodara is included in the list of the cities to get Vande Bharat train facility in the upcoming days. MP Ranjanben Bhatt stated that the efforts will be made to launch the Hapa-Vadodara Vande Bharat train at the hands of PM Modi. The distance between Jamnagar and Vadodara is 431 kms. The Vande Bharat train runs at a speed of 130 kms per hour. Its actual speed on an average is 96 kms per hour. Vande Bharat train will reach Jamnagar from Vadodara within around 3.30 hours.
