Gujarat Government transfers IPS officers

Gandhinagar: The state government on Tuesday transferred several IPS officers within the state.
Manoj Agarwal, who was serving as the principal at the State Reserve Police Training Centre in Junagadh, has been transferred to an ex-cadre position as the director of civil defence and commandant of home guards, effective immediately, said a government note.
Other than that, ADGP R. B. Brahmbhatt, who serves in CID (intelligence), will assume the additional responsibility of ADGP for the State Monitoring Cell. ADGP S P Rajkumar, in charge of CID (crime and railways), has been given the additional charge of ADGP for the prevention of atrocities on SC, ST, and weaker sections, the government informed through a note.
These positions had been vacant, with DGP Vikas Sahay and Neerja Gotru temporarily handling additional responsibilities. DeshGujarat
