Gujarat CM visits Ayodhya

Gandhinagar: Ahead of the beginning of his visit to Japan and Singapore, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today paid a brief visit to Ayodhya in the Northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. He performed the puja of Bhagwan Ram and also reviewed the land allotted for the construction of the Gujarat Bhavan in Shahnevajipur Manjha.
The Chief Minister landed at Ramkatha Park helipad. Later, he visited Hanumangarhi temple and proceeded to have darshan of Lord Shri Ram while inspecting the ongoing construction of the temple.
It is learned that Gujarat has been allocated a 6,000 square meter land in New Ayodhya township for setting up Gujarat Bhavan. The Chief Minister visited and reviewed this allocated land. Numerous states from across the country, as well as several countries, have expressed interest in establishing their guesthouses in the new Ayodhya, covering approximately 18 acres. Ayodhya already houses Gujarati temples and Dharamshalas. Annually, around 5 lakh devotees from Gujarat visit Ayodhya.
