Gujarat ATS busts fake telephone exchange in Surat, nabs 2

Surat: The Gujarat Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) today busted a fake telephone exchange in the Mahidhar Pura area of the city and nabbed two individuals in relation to the case.
Acting on a tip-off that some people are operating a telephone exchange, the ATS, in a joint operation with the Surat city crime branch, raided the place, and it was learned that international calls were being converted into local calls with the help of a SIM box. Two accused have been nabbed in relation to the operation of this bogus telephone exchange. The ATS has confiscated one SIM box and 31 SIM cards from the location.
The detained individuals are identified as Saurabh Sarakar and Prem, alias Boni Bipinchandra Topiwala, and the police are investigating and interrogating these accused individuals. The investigation is being carried out to find out the involvement of several other individuals in this scam. DeshGujarat
