Changes made in roadshow route of PM Modi and UAE President MBZ
January 08, 2024
Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will land in his home state of Gujarat this evening. Tomorrow, the Prime Minister will be holding a road show with the UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is set to arrive in the city on January 9th.
The route of this road show has been changed due to security reasons. Earlier, the PM and the UAE President MBZ were supposed to lead a procession from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport to Sabarmati Ashram. However, with the change in the route, the two leaders will now hold a road show from Indira Bridge near Ahmedabad Airport to Gandhinagar.
Stringent security has been deployed for the road show, and stages are also set up along the route where local artists will perform to greet the leaders. The road show will proceed from Airport Circle toward Indira Bridge, then on Sabarmati toward Raj Bhawan in the state capital.
President MBZ will be among the heads of state or government attending the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit scheduled to take place in Gandhinagar from January 10 to 12. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the summit on January 10th. DeshGujarat
