Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2024 opens for public on January 12th

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government is hosting the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show 2024’ from January 9 to 13, 2024, at the Helipad Ground in the state capital as part of the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. The show, inaugurated by PM Modi on the 9th of January, will be open to the general public from tomorrow, i.e., 12th January.
India’s largest global trade show, featuring exhibitions and stalls spanning an area of two lakh square meters, features the participation of 20 countries, including Australia, Tanzania, Morocco, Mozambique, South Korea, Thailand, Estonia, Bangladesh, Singapore, UAE (United Arab Emirates), UK, Germany, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Russia, Rwanda, Japan, Indonesia, and Vietnam. These countries present information about their industries at the exhibition. The event is hosting over 1,000 exhibitors from the research sector, highlighting ongoing research and innovations across various fields. A total of 100 countries are participating in the trade show as visiting countries, while 33 countries have joined as partners.
The Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show presents cutting-edge products and services across various sectors, including agro and food processing, automobiles and auto components, ceramics, chemicals and petrochemicals, gems and jewelry, pharmaceuticals, ports and marine. Key industries like textiles and garments, electric vehicles, green hydrogen, aircraft and allied industries, renewable energy, semiconductors and ESDM, fintech, cybersecurity, AI, and machine learning will be the focal points of this trade show. The entire area for the trade show has been fully booked, reaching 100% capacity.
In addition to this, the trade show features 13 halls dedicated to 13 different themes, including ‘Make in Gujarat’ and ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’. Approximately 450 MSME units are actively participating to contribute to the realization of the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat’. The special focus is on women empowerment, MSME development, new technology, green and smart infrastructure, sustainable energy, and more in this exhibition. The TechEd Pavilion is specifically designed to showcase IT and ITES startups along with their innovative products and services. Various activities such as reverse buyer-seller meets and vendor development programs are scheduled during the trade show.
Highlighting Features of Diverse Pavilions During the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show
The main pavilion focuss on key areas for economic advancement, including new technology, green and smart infrastructure, and sustainable energy.
International and Thematic Pavilions
A total of 20 countries are represented in this pavilion. Participating nations include Australia, Tanzania, Morocco, Mozambique, South Korea, Thailand, Estonia, Bangladesh, Singapore, UAE (United Arab Emirates), UK, Germany, Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Russia, Japan, Rwanda, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Each country is showcasing information about their respective industries in this exhibition.
TechEd Pavilion: Innovation TechEd Pavilion
Startups in IT (Information Technology) and ITES (Information Technology-based Services) are presenting their research and accomplishments in this special pavilion.
Gujarat Experience Zone
The Gujarat Experience Zone highlights the extensive cultural impact of Gujarat globally, featuring the state’s diverse and rich cultural heritage. This exhibition provides the first glimpse into the dynamic tapestry of Gujarat’s rich artistic legacy, ancient culture, spiritual heritage, and multifaceted tourism experiences, seamlessly blending modern architecture and art, positioned on the global platform.
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Startups, and Women Entrepreneurs
Encouraging the growth of women entrepreneurs and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) is crucial for the empowerment of the industrial sector. The dedication to development, with a particular focus on these areas, has become increasingly apparent. Over 350 MSMEs have been allocated stalls in this exhibition.
E-Mobility
Harnessing modern technology to fulfil energy-efficient and future transportation requirements is essential. The E-mobility pavilion unveils the future of transportation, providing information on advanced electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, and sustainable mobility. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the latest advancements in electric transportation, featuring innovative vehicle models and cutting-edge charging technologies, with companies like MG Hector, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Tesco ChargeZone, and more participating in the exhibition.
Blue Economy
The pavilion aims to showcase the sustainable and dynamic development of maritime industries, to the world. Focusing on logistics and marine technology it highlights India’s strength in responsibly utilizing marine resources.
Knowledge Economy and Startups
The dome presents pioneering ideas and emerging ventures that integrate new technologies for innovation. Institutions such as CEPT University – Ahmedabad, DAIICT – Gandhinagar, IIT Gandhinagar, Gati Shakti University, and GTU, Ahmedabad, offer a platform for networking, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing seminars on the latest topics in this pavilion.
Make in Gujarat and AatmaNirbhar Gujarat
The pavilion brings spotlight on the state’s organizational and industrial excellence in manufacturing. The exhibition displays a varied range of products, innovations, and advancements from industries based in Gujarat, showcasing the state’s position as a manufacturing hub.
AatmaNirbhar Bharat
This pavilion embodies Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, promoting India’s AatmaNirbhar initiatives across various industries. The dome is set to contribute to the dynamism of AatmaNirbhar Bharat, with the participation of industrial groups such as Adani, Torrent, Reliance Industries, and more.
Sustainability and Climate Change Pavilion
In the pavilion, dedicated to renewable energy and climate-positive initiatives, the benefits of hydrogen fuel for transportation are being showcased. Visitors here have the opportunity to witness demonstrations of eco-friendly transportation infrastructure models, including electric charging stations and hydrogen fueling stations.
Hydrogen Fuel and Electric Vehicles Pavilion
The exhibit highlights advancements in electric vehicle technology, offering visitors an exploration of the advantages of hydrogen fuel for transportation. The dome includes a comparative analysis of various EV models, emphasizing their environmental impact.
Smart Infrastructure
The pavilion showcases interactive models, featuring high-tech displays that highlight the progress and advantages of high-speed rail and bullet train technology, along with modern civil infrastructure. Additionally, the Special Economic Zone and Industrial Zone are notable highlights of the pavilion.
Strategic Networking Opportunities
Leveraging the platform, reverse buyer-seller meets and vendor development programs have been organized to increase opportunities for exhibitors.
Reverse Buyer Seller Meets (RBSM): Export Promotion-Oriented Initiative
To be held on January 11 and 12, 2024, the meet attracts foreign buyers from over 100 countries across a range of categories who will be looking for suppliers in various sectors. These include pharmaceuticals and chemicals, ceramics and tiles, food and processing, allied sectors, textiles and apparel, automobiles, and engineering, among others.
