February 04, 2024
Ankleshwar: Bharuch Urban Area Authority (BAUDA) has served notice to Mohanlal Gupta who has built a temple like set up above terrace of a building with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s statues as Dwarpals of the mandir.
BAUDA has served a seven days notice to Gupta to reply with evidence to prove that the building is not illegal. The structure is located in Gadkhol village of Ankleshwar.
A scrap trader Gupta attracted limelight for installing Modi and Yogi’s man size statues as Dwarpal of Ram Mandir over a terrace of the ground plus one storey house. The mandir like structure has murtis of Ram, Lakshman and Sita.
However an alert citizen of village, Mansukh Rakhashiya led attention of the media and the local authority and claimed that the building was illegal, and Gupta had erected Ram Mandir and Modi-Yogi’s statues in apparent attempt to evade demolition of additional floor that was built without approval.
BAUDA officials on Saturday paid a visit to the building and served a notice to Gupta. If Gupta fails to produce evidence, demolition of the building is likely in coming time. DeshGujarat
