ATS seizes huge stock of arms from parts of Saurashtra; 5 nabbed

Surendranagar: The Gujarat Anti-Terror Squad (ATS), in a major operation in the Saurashtra region, has seized a large stock of arms and ammunition and has apprehended 5 individuals in connection with the case.
Acting on a tip-off, the ATS apprehended 5 individuals from Surendranagar, Amreli, and Rajkot, seizing a total of 25 pistols and 90 live cartridges. It is alleged that these accused had procured these arms and ammunition from outside the state. One individual, Munnavar, is suspected of supplying these arms with the help of private travel buses. The agency has initiated an investigation into the source of these ammunitions, their cost, and the intended destination for their use and sale. DeshGujarat
