Surat: With the voting for the general election of Lok Sabha 2024 over in Gujarat, one would assume that this will bring rest for the party workers here. However, there is no rest for the enthusiastic workers of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party as they have left for Uttar Pradesh to campaign for elections. BJP workers from Surat left in a convoy of 25 vehicles for Uttar Pradesh. These workers will campaign for BJP in Jaunpur and Machhali Shahar Lok Sabha seats.
The party workers are heading to Uttar Pradesh and will campaign in several Lok Sabha seats regarding Gujarat’s development model and achievements of the Modi government. Thousands of migrants from Uttar Pradesh reside in areas like Udhana, Pandesara, Godadara, Parvat Patiya in Surat, and party workers from these areas are going to UP to campaign for the ruling BJP.
Former corporator and BJP leader, Yajuvendra Dubey, said “now the Surat team will work in the campaigning of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. After the completion of the Gujarat elections, the Surat team will go on camping in all the Lok Sabha Constituencies of UP from where the people have come and are living in Surat. Our team has left with around 25 four-wheelers.”
Former Home Minister of Maharashtra, Kripashankar Singh, is contesting on the Jaunpur Lok Sabha seat and P V Saroj is contesting elections from Machhali Shahar seat. On both the Lok Sabha seats, Surat workers will try to secure a win for Bharatiya Janata Party candidates. In the coming days, campaigns in other Lok Sabha constituencies of UP are also being planned in the same way. DeshGujarat
