APMC Surat to Export Mango Pulp to Germany, Russia, Dubai, Canada, Japan

Surat: Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) Surat is gearing up to export Mango pulp to Germany, Russia, Dubai, Canada, and Japan in the current year. Sandeep Desai, Chairman of Surat APMC, announced the commencement of production of 250 tons of Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango Pulp at the city’s food processing plant.
The food processing plant at APMC Surat, operational since 2017, produces various products including mango pulp, tomato puree, tomato ketchup, guava juice, pickles, and ready-to-eat items. This year, 250 tons of Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes have been procured under the supervision of Chairman Sandeep Desai, who oversees the production process. APMC Surat will export the mango pulp to Germany, Russia, Dubai, Canada, and Japan this year.
The mango pulp will also be supplied to major dairies such as Amul, Sumul, Sagar, and Mother Dairy, primarily for the production of mango ice cream. After making Alphonso mango pulp, the plant will also process Kesar mangoes from Surat, Tapi, Valsad, and other farmers in South Gujarat.
