Traffic diversion on Ahmedabad-Modasa Highway for bridge widening work
June 16, 2024
Talod: Traffic diversion has been given on the Ahmedabad-Modasa highway due to ongoing lane construction work. The District Roads and Buildings Department has redirected traffic from Harsol towards T.R. Chowk to Ujediya instead of passing through Modasa, effective from June 14 to June 30, 2024.
The construction involves widening the existing bridge over the Sujalam Sufalam Canal near Harsol, Talod, as part of the four-lane expansion of the Ahmedabad-Modasa state highway.
As the monsoon season approaches, completion of the construction within the specified timeframe will depend on weather conditions. Starting today, traffic has been rerouted via a temporary mud embankment. Traffic congestion of heavy vehicles is expected on the Ujediya-Talod route for the next 15 days. DeshGujarat
