Gujarat govt orders immediate premature retirement of senior class-1 officer in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government has ordered the premature retirement of a Class-1 officer of the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd (SSNNL) in Gandhinagar.
According to an order from the Narmada Jalsampati Pani Puravtha and Kalpsar department today, Superintendent Engineer JJ Pandya has been prematurely retired by the state government in the public interest, with immediate effect this afternoon.
The ongoing departmental inquiry against JJ Pandya will continue after his premature retirement. He will receive salary and wages for a three-month period.
