Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Revenue Department ordered district collectors to conduct reviews in three villages each over the weekend, despite it being the fourth Saturday of the month. This order aimed at evaluating government fallow lands and Gauchar lands, addressing local grievances, and monitoring development projects.
Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue Department Manoj Das instructed all collectors to personally conduct these reviews and submit detailed reports by Monday. Ahmedabad Collector Praveena D.K. inspected government Gauchar lands and fallow lands in Shela and Telav villages. Discussions centered around developmental projects managed by local panchayat offices. She also gave detailed instructions to review the construction activities related to Amrit Sarovar in Shela.
Meanwhile, Kheda Collector Amit Prakash Yadav visited the Mahudha Mamlatdar office. During his visit, he addressed local concerns such as difficulties in obtaining Aadhar cards, caste certificates, income certificates, and residence certificates. He took note of absenteeism among officials and promised action against any irregularities found in public service delivery. Moreover, he stated that action would be taken if irregularities were discovered in the midday meal or land branch. DeshGujarat
