Junagadh Police book 10 members of Rahim Khuri gang under GujCTOC

Junagadh:In a much-needed relief to the people of Junagadh district, the police have booked the notorious Rahim alias Khuri and his 10 aides under the Gujarat Control of Terrorism & Organized Crime Act (GujCTOC). The gang has a history of murders, kidnappings, rioting, issuing death threats, looting, and supplying weapons. The gang had killed a father and son at Ravni village about a month ago. They were mainly active in the Vanthali area.
According to Junagadh district police chief Harshad Maheta, police had nabbed seven accused in the father-son murder case at Ravni village in Vanthali taluka initially in connection with double murder case. The investigation revealed that the accused were part of the gang involved in organized crime. The accused would fire in villages such as Ravni and Japodar, grab lands, commit murders, and engage in other criminal activities. Each accused was facing between 4 to 24 charges in police stations.
The district police compiled the history of the gang members and sought permission from higher officials to book them under stringent law GujCTOC. Police also nabbed two more accused eventually and booked all 10 under GujCTOC.
The gang members include Rahim alias Khuri Isabhai Sandh, Hanif alias Hano Islamel Sandh, Hussain Sandh, Amin Sandh, Bodu Abu Paleja, Rahim alias Antudi Jusab, Anis alias Anlo Ismael Sandh, Imtiyaz alias Polo Isa Sandh, Amran alias Bhikho Habib Sandh, and Bhavin alias Kano Mansukhbhai. DeshGujarat
