Two arrested in Vadodara L&T theft case; 24 CPUs recovered

Vadodara: Vadodara Police arrested two people for stealing CPUs from the L&T company near Ajwa Chowk. The police seized 24 CPUs of Dell company computers worth Rs 72,000 from the two accused.
Vijayalakshmi Das, the IT head of L&T company in Vadodara, had reported that an unknown person had stolen CPU units of Dell Optiplex 3000 series worth Rs 1.26 lakhs from the company’s three locations. Between December 2023 and June 25th, 42 CPUs went missing from the strongroom, hub room, and west block of L&T. Following the complaint, the police formed teams to search for the thief using technical surveillance and human sources.
The police found the suspects within hours of a complaint being filed at Kapurai police station. The police arrested Akshay Manubhai Rohit from Tarsali and Mayank Ghanshyambhai Rai from Kalali as the suspects. DeshGujarat
