Gandhinagar: An extended State Executive meet of Gujarat unit of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) will be held at BAPS Swaminarayan campus in Sarangpur in Botad district on 4-5 July. A formal announcement on this was made by Gujarat BJP leader Rajnibhai Patel.

Sharing further details of this meet, Patel said – the meet will be headed by the State party chief CR Patil. It will also be attended by central leaders. Resolutions will be passed in this meet and party cadres will be provided guidence. From Mandal presidents and State office bearers, more than 1300 party workers will attend the meet.

He said a State level team has been formed for preparations of this meet. Dr. Bharatbhai Boghra, Dhavalbhai and other party leaders are monitoring the preparations. BJP has formed the government for continuous third time in the Centre under the leadership of Narendrabhai Modi. An Abhinandan prastav will be passed in this connection in the meet.

Patel said the party will review the make assessment of political situation. He said five sessions will be held on the first day of two-day meet. Patel didn’t confirm or refuse to confim whether there will be any deliberation or decision on appointment of new State party chief during the meet.
