Gujarat government orders premature retirement of class-1 senior scale GAS officer

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has enforced premature retirement of a class-1 Gujarat Administrative Service(GAS) officer.
According to a notification signed by the Under Secretary of General Administrative Department, GAS(senior scale) officer SJ Pandya is prematurely retired with effect of later half of July 5(today) from public service on immediate basis.
Pandya is presently under deemed suspension with punishment headquarters at Collector office in Amreli. Pandya was previously Deputy Director(Planning) of SPIPA in Ahmedabad.
Departmental enquiries and FIR against Pandya will continue after his premature retirement. FIR against Pandya was filed in Dahod town police station A division on 10 November 2023. Chargeshet was subsequently filed, and moved to the General Administrative Department on 3 July this year. DeshGujarat
