Rape-Kidnapping accused escapes custody from Sola Police station in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: An accused under remand with Sola Police escaped custody today by breaking the bathroom window.
The accused, named Mehul Natwar Parmar (21), who was arrested on July 10 in a case of kidnapping and sexual assault under the POCSO Act, was under police remand. This morning, around 8 am, he asked to use the toilet and did not come out for over 10 minutes. However, when the police checked, the accused had already escaped by breaking the bathroom window.
The 21-year-old accused, named Mehul Natwar Parmar, was arrested for the kidnapping and rape of a minor girl. A case of kidnapping was registered at Sola police station on July 7, and the accused was arrested from a construction site in the Vastral area on July 10. A complaint has been registered against the absconding accused in Sola police station, and the zone police team, in addition to the local police, is working to find him. DeshGujarat
